iOS 9 support for System Center 2012 R2 Configuration Manager SP1

If you use System Center 2012 R2 Configuration Manager SP1 with CU1 installed and have Microsoft Intune connector Microsoft released extension for your SCCM infrastructure:

Cumulative Update 1 for SCCM 2012 SP2 and R2 SP1

Yesterday Microsoft released Cumulative Update 1 for System Center 2012 R2 Configuration Manager Service Pack 1 and System Center 2012 Configuration Manager Service Pack 2.

After applying Cumulative Update 1 Configuration Manager client package is updated automatically, so you can install the latest version (5.0.8239.1203) of SCCM client during operating system deployment of by Client Push Installation method. Existing clients will install this cumulative update through Automatic Client Upgrade:

Windows ADK for Windows 10

Microsoft released Windows ADK for Windows 10 which you can use for  MDT 2013 Update 1 Preview, SCCM 2012 R2 SP1 and SCCM Technical Preview 2, if you want to install Windows 10. Also Windows ADK for Windows 10 contains a new utility Windows Imaging and Configuration Designer (Windows ICD) for Windows 10 images customization.

System Center Configuration Manager Cmdlet Library

Now PowerShell cmdlets for System Center Configuration Manager will be released as separate module, which will be updated regularly, and will not be a part of cumulative updates.

Requirements for the System Center Configuration Manager Cmdlet Library:

  • PowerShell 3.0 or higher;
  • The Configuration Manager administration console from System Center 2012 Configuration Manager SP2/R2.
